Membership
Members Directory:
In the year 2000, Ananda Balaga published a Directory containing names, addresses, telephone numbers, and blood group details of members. This exhaustive Directory was published with the active assistance of Yuva Vibhaga and was distributed free to the members. New members would also be eligible for this directory free until stocks last.
Membership:
Any person above the age of 18 and belonging to the district of Dakshina Kannada – Karnataka state may become a member but only on an invitation by another member. Such inviting member shall make an application to the Executive Committee in the prescribed form proposing invitee to the membership of Balaga.
The Executive Committee shall then communicate the acceptance of membership to the invited member upon acceptance of the application in its committee meeting. However, the Executive Committee has the right to reject the application without assigning any reasons.
The membership is for life and not transferable. The application form for membership shall be introduced and signed by another existing member. Persons residing overseas may also apply if their membership is duly proposed by any continuing member. The application form can be down loaded by clicking here.
The different category of membership and the fee payable (including admission fee of Rs. 10/-) against each is as follows:
- General Membership : Rs. 510
- Danee Membership : Rs. 1010
- Maha danee membership : Rs. 2510
- Poshaka Membership : Rs. 5010
- Maha Poshaka Membership : Rs. 10010
Please note that rules and regulations contained in the byelaw of Ananda Balaga shall be applicable and binding upon all categories of members.
